METHANE CRYSTAL

Methane Crystals are a fuel source ten times more efficient than Erchius Fuel found mostly in perfusion on Arctic Planets. These are fairly hazardous to extract, owing to the fact that they are usually embedded in sea ice, so obtaining them is always going to be a challenge, especially since they are not as compact as Erchius Fuel. While Erchius Fuel can be carried around in stacks of as many as 1,000 fuel units, Methane Crystals can be carried around in stacks of only around 500 units..

Equally, they are also harder to harvest, compared to conventional Erchius Crystal deposits - the unique conditions that permit them to form undersea also do not permit for easy excavation, so you might be required to bring tools such as Diamond Drills or Mining Lasers to extract them. An appropriate EPP or even a Mech might also be required to provide life support underwater in order to ensure safety since mining them will take some time.

Interaction with other mods.

Cobalt Powder is sold by some artists at a lower price than what other merchants sell it, but at a lower probability.
